Affordable Housing-A group
of housing advocates has coalesced into the
Affordable Housing Coalition (AHC) whose
mission encompasses but trandscends the
traditional advocate goals of seeking
more public housing and acquiring
housing for the poor and homeless. AHC
recognizes that supply of affordable
housing is also inadequate for working class families and others
with full time
jobs. More families who have a fully
employed member are finding themselves
without shelter and some are homeless.
These photos reflect a wide variety of
activities designed to bring this housing
crisis to public attention.
